2018 has been a fine year for celebrity weddings – we had Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, Kit Harington and Rose Leslie, Kat Von D and Leafar Seyer, and many more. But we can’t get enough – here are the ones we’re most excited for before we roll into 2019.
1. Princess Eugenie & Jack Brooksbank
We are SO ready for another royal wedding. Princess Eugenie – William and Harry’s cousin – is set to marry her boyfriend, Jack Brooksbank, on October 12th, on the grounds of Windsor Castle.
2. Chiara Ferragni & Fedez
From a British royal wedding to an Italian one. Blogging queen and mega-influencer Chiara Ferragni (The Blonde Salad) is marrying singer and X Factor judge Fedez at the beginning of September, supposedly in Noto, Sicily – and we’re positive it’s going to be ridiculously stylish.
3. Mandy Moore & Taylor Goldsmith
The This Is Us star has been engaged to Dawes musician Taylor Goldsmith since late last year, and Mandy’s own comments have sparked rumours that this could be their year. “I sort of feel like it could happen at a moment's notice,” she said to E! News. “Maybe I won’t even tell people and they’ll just show up at the house and it will just unfold.”
4. Charlotte Casiraghi & Dimitri Rassam
The Princess of Monaco was set to get married in June, but she postponed her wedding to fiancé Dimitri Rassam, most likely to welcome her baby first. The mother-of-one is reportedly due in August – let’s see if the couple manage to get their vows in before the end of the year!
5. Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn
The Perfect singer announced his engagement to Cherry Seaborn in January, and we’re guessing a romantic like him won’t want to delay it for much longer – although the singer’s plan to wed in a flint chapel he wants to build at his Suffolk home might have been pushed back after planning officials rejected his building application.
6. Justin Bieber & Hailey Baldwin
We have no actual proof that Biebs and Balds are going to get married this year, but they did recently get engaged after dating for a matter of weeks, so we know they’re not opposed to impulsive and romantic decisions. If there’s someone who’s likely to put a ring on it pronto, it’s Justin.
7. Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra
Yes, Nick’s brother Joe and his fiancée Sophie Turner have been engaged for a longer time, but they’ve already made it clear they’re in no hurry to get hitched. Meanwhile, Nick and Priyanka got engaged in a matter of weeks, and who’s to say a whirlwind wedding isn’t on the cards for them in 2018?
8. Taraji P. Henson And Kelvin Hayden
The Empire actress and the former NFL cornerback have been engaged since May 2018. Taraji posted an Instagram Story in July, referring to her fiancé as her ‘#hubbybear’, which seems to indicate she’s pretty keen to put a ring on it.
9. Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons
The couple welcomed their first son, Ennis this year, and while marriage is definitely on the cards for these two, Jesse told E! News that they're taking it “somewhat slow.” A winter wedding, perhaps?
