This weekend, the couple who play Jon Snow and Ygritte on Game of Thrones got married at Rayne Church, Kirkton of Rayne, in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
The couple were staying at the Meldrum House Hotel, in the village of Old Meldrum, close to the Leslie family’s Wardhill Castle (yes, Ygritte’s family owns an actual castle), where the wedding breakfast was held.
The 200-strong guest list included a good number of their GoT co-stars, including Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Peter Dinklage, and Emilia Clarke. Celebrations included a live music set by band Mumford and Sons and went on till the early hours of the morning.
Rose and Kit announced their engagement in September 2017 via the forthcoming marriages section of The Times newspaper.
We don’t know where they’ll be honeymooning but it probably won’t be in a cave.
