As part of today’s ongoing press conference that is sharing an economic regeneration plan post-COVID for Malta, Finance Minister Edward Scicluna has announced that the wedding industry will also benefit from this.
He said that up to €2,000 will be given to each couple who incurred expenses when postponing their wedding, particularly having lost deposits as a result of COVID-19. Overall, a value of €2 million will be allocated to this fund.
