Prince Harry stepped out for an interview with the press just minutes after the Sussex’s Instagram account revealed Meghan Markle had given birth to a baby boy.
The new father revealed his wife and new-born baby were healthy and happy. “I am very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a baby boy, earlier this morning, a very healthy boy. Both mother and baby are doing incredibly well,” he says while grinning from ear to ear.
The 34-year-old sang his wife’s praises throughout the interview. “It’s been the most amazing experience I could have ever have possibly imagined. How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension.”
The Duke revealed that he and Markle are still considering names for their baby boy who was born at 5:26am at 7lbs. 3oz, though hinted they might have some options ready. He also revealed it will be two days “as planned” to “show everyone the baby.”
