The idea of getting a tattoo of your S.O. makes us a little nervous, but these celebrity couples jumped that hurdle, and marked their relationship with matching tattoos.
1. Beyonce & Jay-Z
If you’re a true Beyhive fan, you’ll know that the number four is very significant for the Carter-Knowles clan. Beyonce’s birthday is on 4th September, Jay-Z’s is on 4th December, they got hitched on 4th April, and the popstar’s 2011 album was called 4. So, guess what tattoo, they’ve got? Yup, the number four. The couple got a matching number four tattoo in Roman numerals on their ninth wedding anniversary.
2. Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth
The Last Song co-stars broke up in 2019 after a 10-year on and off relationship. However, before they broke it off, a few months before their 2016 reunion, the couple got matching Vegemite tats. Miley’s is on her upper arm while Liam’s is on his ankle. They also have a continuous quote on their arms by the former POTUS Theodore Roosevelt. Hemsworth’s reads, “If he fails, at least fails while daring greatly,” while Miley’s continues, “So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat.”
3. Victoria & David Beckham
To celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary, the former Spice Girl and English footballer were seen sporting matching tats, with Victoria’s on her back and David’s on her arm. While the couple are going strong after 20 years, Victoria has since removed hers.
4. Sophie Turner & Joe Jonas
The GoT alum and one third of the JoBros lost their pupper in a car accident back in July. A few days after Waldo’s death was reported, the couple debuted their matching tattoos in tribute of their late furry friend on their forearms.
5. Chrissy Teigen & John Legend
The goddess of hilarious comments and the soulful singer got matching family tats back in April, and have both their children’s names and each other’s names in cursive script across parts of their arms.
6. Kylie Jenner & Travis Scott
After becoming Insta-official, Kylie and Travis were seen sporting the tiniest, tiniest of tattoos: little butterflies on their ankles. The rapper and fashion mogul have since broken up but remain friends and co-parents to daughter Stormi.
7. Cara Delevingne & Ashley Benson
While promoting her new eyewear collection, a sweet new tat was discovered on Ashley Benson’s side. She showed off a tattoo of her rumoured fiancée, Cara Delevigne’s intials. Cara reportedly has an ‘A’ in the same spot.
8. Rihanna & Drake
Riri and Drake both have camouflage sharks on their ankle and arm respectively. The on-again, off-again couple have since gone their separate ways for good, with Rihanna confirming in a 2018 Vogue interview that the pair are no longer friends.
