Christabelle: I’d Love To Get Married & Have My Own Family
Christabelle Borg has been in the Maltese music scene since she was three years old, but she’s recently become more well-known as a Malta Song for Europe contender with songs like Rush and Kingdom. In a recent interview with Gwida magazine, she talked about her boyfriend Jordan, the most important aspects of a relationship and her future plans.
"Jordan and I met at St Aloysius sixth form. We shared mutual friends, so we quickly started talking. I’m a big of an extrovert whereas Jordan is a very quiet and reserved person. I think it is our differences that attract us to each other. When I started talking to him, I immediately realised how humble, ambitious and level-headed he was. Obviously it helps that he’s sporty and good-looking! But looks aren’t everything. I think the most important thing in a relationship is that you and your partner love and respect one another.
We’ve been together for the past six-and-a-half years. We have always supported each other in our activities – he supported my singing career and I support him as a keen waterpolo player. It’s only been a year since we graduated; he’s a doctor and I work full-time as an accountant.
Only God knows what’s in store for the future. However, I think it’s important to think about the years to come and plan ahead. I hope to keep working and singing, and eventually, I’d really love to get married and have my own family too!"
