1. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

The Duke and Duchess themselves met on a blind date all thanks to a mutual friend. “It was definitely a set-up,” Markle said during their first TV interview following their engagement. “I was beautifully surprised when I walked into that room and saw her there,” said Prince Harry. #Swoon.

2. Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen

The most genetically-blessed couple that is the Bundchen-Bradys met through a seemingly mundane set-up. Back in 2009, Brady admitted that a close friend bugged him to go on a date with the supermodel just weeks after a split. “This friend told me he knew a girl version of me,” Brady said. The couple married three years later, and the rest is history!

It was revealed that the former Hollywood power couple actually met on a blind date that was orchestrated by their agents. While their relationship ended in divorce after five years of marriage, they were truly the industry’s ‘It’ couple back then.

4. Emily Blunt and John Krasinski

We’ve got Anne Hathaway to thank for bringing these two together. In 2008, after Blunt co-starred alongside Hathaway in the hit The Devil Wears Prada, Hathaway arranged a meet up between the two and the rest is history! “I met her, and I was so nervous, and I was like, ‘oh no I’m going to fall in love with her.’ I shook her hand and I went, ‘I like you.’” Such a romantic!

5. Elsa Pataky and Chris Hemsworth

6. Hilarie Burton and Jeffrey Dean Morgan

The One Tree Hill former actress and the Supernatural actor first met on a blind double-date. Jensen Ackles, Morgan’s co-star organised the whole thing with wife Danneel Ackles, who happened to be Burtons’ OTH co-star back in the day. “We ended up back at my house drinking shots of tequila,” Morgan recalls. If only all tequila-filled nights had this happy ending!
