In what might be considered to be one of the most iconic on-set pairings of all time, Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie, who were adored by fans as Jon Snow and Ygritte in the hit series Game Of Thrones, went on to date in real life. The couple tied the knot last June in a GoT-studded gathering in Scotland.

2. Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie

Although we all know how this story ends, it endures as the mother of all on-set romances. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie met on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith in 2004, while Pitt was married to Jennifer Anniston. They went on to date for 10 years, got married in 2014, and sadly divorced in 2016, breaking many Brangelina hearts around the world.

3. Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds

Rightly considered to be Hollywood’s golden couple, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds met while filming Green Lantern in 2010. Although they didn’t start dating until a year later, they tied the knot in 2012 and now have two (of course) gorgeous daughters, James and Ines.

4. Channing Tatum & Jenna Dewan

Although this adorable love story ended in divorce just months ago – the couple announced their split in April 2018 – it all began on the set of Step Up, which is where dancers Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan met in 2006, married in 2009 and welcomed a daughter, Everly, in 2013.

5. Ryan Gosling & Eva Mendes

Little is known about this famously private couple, other than they met on the set of The Place Beyond The Pines in 2011, and have two daughters together.

6. Adam Brody & Leighton Meester

They’ll forever be remembered and loved as Blair Waldorf and Seth Cohen in two of the biggest teen dramas of their generation, Gossip Girl and the O.C. respectively. So when they met on the set of The Oranges in 2011, married in 2014 and had their first child in 2015, fans were absolutely losing it.

7. Jennifer Aniston & Justin Theroux

Jennifer Anniston and Justin Theroux met while filming Wanderlust in 2011. They tied the knot in 2015 in a small and secret ceremony, but sadly also called it quits in 2017 after just two years of marriage.

8. Penelope Cruz & Javier Bardem

Although Penelope Cruz played Javier Bardem’s former flame in the 2007 film Vicky Christina Barcelona (which is the second film they starred in together), they went on to become a solid item in real life. The couple married in 2010 and have since welcomed two children.

9. Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied

Remember the incredible performance by Natalie Portman in Black Swan? It not only earned her an Oscar but also a future husband, Benjamin Millepied, who worked as a choreographer on the film. They had a child in 2011, and married a year later.

10. Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar

Any teen who grew up in the 90s knows the names Freddie Prinze Jr and Sarah Michelle Gellar, who starred together in the 1997 film I Know What You Did Last Summer. They’ve been together ever since – and went on to tie the knot in 2002 and have two children together.

11. Claire Danes & Hugh Dancy

Although the film they starred in together didn’t really take off, Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy surely did. The couple met on the set of the film Evening in 2006, married in 2009 and had a son together in 2012.

12. Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender

Also famously low-key, Hollywood A-listers Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender met while filming The Light Between Oceans in 2014. They fell in love on screen, which makes it very easy to imagine how they fell in love in real life.
