Despite being two high-profile stars, Justin and Hailey Bieber have been extremely selective about what wedding details to share with their fans. Now, all has been revealed thanks to episode 8 of Justin Bieber’s docu-series Justin Bieber: Seasons, which aims to share his music-making process with the general public.
Titled The Wedding: Officially Mr. & Mrs. Bieber, the 10-minute film touches upon the couple’s preparations for the wedding and shares intimate details and never-before-seen footage of the ceremony.
The clip reveals Justin’s proposal to Hailey: “She just walked down the stairs and I was just there with the ring,” Justin says, before continuing: “And I was shaking, I was just like, I loved you for so long and I just can’t see myself being with anybody else. I love you so much, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Um, will you marry me?” The singer reports that Hailey was left speechless.
The video also reveals Hailey’s excitement for, as well as Justin’s nerves during, their big day. Friends were also ecstatic about their union: “I’ve seen a change in Justin since Hailey came into his life, and I think any man finds a good woman, he’s going to have a good change,” says Scooter Braun, Justin’s manager, adding that: “Justin’s a better man because he married Hailey.”
The episode gives the public a glimpse into their special day, sharing details of their preparations, vows (with Justin getting muddled halfway through), the reception, and after-party.
