p>British business magnate, philanthropist, author, investor and Virgin Group founder Richard Branson is looking back on the past 44 years with his wife, Joan Templeman.
Over the weekend, Branson wrote about the first time he met his now-wife alongside a throwback photo of the couple. “I often make up my mind about someone within 30 seconds of meetings them. When I met Joan 44 years ago today, it was love at first sight.”
“I think you have to work on it,” Branson said in an interview last year with Page Six. “I think if you just sit back and wait for it to come it’s not necessarily going to happen. I think you’ve got to be willing to subtly chase somebody if you’re really interested.”
The couple share four children together, Holly, Sam, Clare Sarah and Sam Edward and are proud grandparents to four grandchildren.
