The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, marked her 40th birthday by sharing three new photos with the public.
The beautiful portraits, taken by iconic fashion photographer Paolo Roversi, show off her Alexander McQueen gowns perfectly whilst giving us a touch of vintage glam.
The images were shared by BBC News on their social media.
Kate was sure to carry a piece of Diana with her, donning a gorgeous pair of earrings which were loaned to the Princess of Wales by the Queen.
The three photographs were taken back in November at Kew gardens and are now set to be displayed at three eminent locations that the Princess herself chose,
The first will be displayed at Berkshire, where Kate was raised and spent most of her childhood, the second at St Andrews, where she went to university and met Prince William, and the third at Anglesey, where the couple lived just before getting married.
The photos will eventually be displayed permanently as part of a project for the National Portrait Gallery, where Kate is a patron.
Buckingham Palace was one of the many entities to wish the Duchess a happy birthday on social media, sharing photos of the Princess and the Queen over the years.
