Today, two of Malta’s best-known ALS activists are celebrating seven years together.
That’s right – Bjorn and Maria Formosa have been together since 2015!
The two got married on 3rd December 2016, meaning that they’re very close to their sixth wedding anniversary.
“Everything started seven years ago, a girl that I knew from Junior College sent me a friend request on Facebook. She instantly told me that she wanted to help me after she saw my interview with the Times of Malta,” Bjorn wrote, commemorating the special day.
“From that day forward, she helped me, we got married and started our family”, he continued.
“Thank you for everything Maria! This is the first photo we have together. It’s so special for me”, he sweetly wrote as he concluded such a special message.
The couple are currently busy planning their upcoming televised fundraiser ‘Se Nghinu Iktar’ for Djar Bjorn on 25th September.
