Sophie Hinchliffe from ‘Mrs Hinch Home’ on Instagram is a household name thanks to her cleaning tips, grey interiors, and house hacks. Sophie took to Instagram to wish her husband Jamie a happy 5th year anniversary.
She reminisces on her wedding day and how she was anxious and scared to walk down the aisle.
‘5 years ago today, at this exact time in the morning, I was sitting outside the bridal cottage, in the garden, with a cup of tea (mum told me I needed to drink something) but I was hit with a wave of sudden sadness. Yep, that’s right I was crying, thinking to myself that in a few short hours, my dad will “give me away”, that I would no longer share the same surname as my parents, and that I was about to become a lifelong partner’.
She wondered what if Jamie didn’t want her 5 years down the line...but here they are going strong and heading into ‘chapter 6’ full of love and happiness.
‘Marrying this man is, by far, the best decision I have ever made in life. I love him more now than I ever have before, and he supports me emotionally like no one else can. Happy anniversary Jamie. Thank you for being by my side, for being so kind, and patient and for not driving off into the distance!’
Sophie Hinchliffe and Jamie are also well-known for giving one lucky family their former home, worth £600k after they moved into their Essex farmhouse.
