A royal baby is due this year, this time being welcomed by the Hanover royalty. Prince Christian and Princess Alessandra of Hanover have revealed that they are expecting their first bundle of joy come summer.
The couple wed in a civil ceremony in London back in November 2017 before taking things international in March 2018 where they celebrated their nuptials in Alessandra’s native Peru with a ceremony at the Basilica of San Pedro in Lima.
The long-term couple met in 2005 while the Prince was visiting Peru, where Alessandra acted as his tour guide. Six years later they made things official and got engaged in 2017.
The couple are figures on the social scene have been to events such as Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding in October 2018 and the Rose Ball in Monaco set up by Prince Christian’s step-mother Princess Caroline’s mother, the iconic Grace Kelly.
