E! News reported that the couple selected close confidants to be their son’s godparents. The other is Mark Dyer, a former officer of honour to Archie’s grandfather, Prince Charles. Harry’s childhood friend, Charlie van Straubenzee is also a confirmed godfather.

This news of Archie’s godparents comes amid Harry and Meghan’s announcement that they will be stepping down as senior members  of the royal family and splitting their time between the UK and Canada.
