More royal baby news, this time from Sweden! Princess Sofia and her husband Prince Carl Philip have announced that they’re expecting their third child together in an official statement.
They shared the news with a stunning black and white photo posted to the royal family’s official Instagram page. “We are happy and excited and look forward to welcoming our third child,” they shared. “A new little member of our family.”
The baby, which is expected to arrive some time between late March and early April 2021, will be a sibling to the royals’ two other children: four-year-old Prince Alexander and three-year-old Prince Gabriel.
This is the second royal baby news this week, as Mike Tindall announced on Wednesday that he and wife Zara are also expecting their third child - another great-grandchild for Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.
2021 seems to be the year for royal babies as Princess Eugenie, daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, also announced that she and hubby Jack Brooksbank are expecting their first child in early 2021, back in September.
