Zara Tindall, daughter of Princess Anne and granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth, is expecting her third child with husband Mike Tindall.
The couple are parents to daughters Mia Grace, 6, and Lena Elizabeth, 2.
Mike, a former England rugby star, shared the news during an episode of his podcast, The Good, the Bad & The Rugby.
“It’s been a good week for me, had a little scan last week – third Tindall on its way,” he said. “I’d like a boy this time, I’ve got two girls. I’ll love it whether a boy or a girl – but please be a boy.”
The couple previously announced their pregnancies through Buckingham Palace, marking a break in tradition for the couple who are quite low-key.
Much to fans’ delight, 2021 will see the arrival of two royal babies, as Princess Eugenie, daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, is also expecting her first child with husband Jack Brooksbank.
