The Queen reportedly gave her grandson permission to marry Markle, who was previously married, a week after she celebrated her own 70th wedding anniversary with Prince Philip.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle revealed they were a couple around a year ago, after Prince Harry visited Toronto in the summer of 2016 and kept his relationship a secret for six months.
