While receiving congratulations on the news of her pregnancy from journalist Chris Peregin, Dr Roberta Metsola, who was sitting alongside PL MEP Dr Miriam Dalli for an interview published on Lovin Malta, burst into a giggling fit.

“Thank you for announcing that to the world!” she joked, saying that she hadn’t even broke the news herself yet.

While he offered to omit that part of the interview before publishing, Dr Metsola went along with it, saying “no, it’s fine,” in between fits of laughter.

On October 1, Dr Metsola posted a picture on her Facebook page with husband Ukko Metsola, in celebration of their 11^th wedding anniversary.
