On this day in 1982, the future King of England, Prince William, was born to Prince Charles and Lady Diana.
In celebration of his son’s 40th birthday, Prince Charles took to Instagram to share a series of nostalgic images…
“Wishing The Duke of Cambridge a very happy 40th birthday”, he captioned the photos.
The series of five photos includes a shot of Prince Charles holding baby William as they were coming out of the hospital, as well as a photo of them skiing when William was in his early teenage years.
These were accompanied by an incredibly sweet and recent photo of William hugging his beloved dad whilst both of them show off a beaming smile.
Queen Elizabeth joined Prince Charles in wishing her grandson a happy birthday by also sharing a series of charming photos of her and William.
