The Superintendent of Public Health, Prof Charmaine Gauci, today announced that one of the seven new Coronavirus cases reported today involves a pregnant Italian woman who was preparing for a cesarean section.
The test was performed as a routine check before the surgery. Prof. Gauci revealed that both mother and baby are in a "very good condition" and confirmed that all necessary precautions were being taken during the procedure.
