Peppa Pig fans have a new reason to celebrate – there’s a brand-new piglet in town! The world’s most famous cartoon pig is now a big sister again, as the Pig family officially welcomes its newest member: baby Evie.

The exciting news broke on Good Morning Britain during Tuesday’s show, where entertainment correspondent Richard Arnold shared the joyful update. According to Arnold, Mummy Pig gave birth to Evie at 5:30am that morning – much to the delight of fans young and old.

Evie, adorably named after Mummy Pig’s aunt, has already made her social media debut, stealing hearts on Instagram with her tiny trotters and sweet snout. She now joins older siblings Peppa (4) and George (2) as the youngest member of the animated family.

Since first airing in 2004, Peppa Pig has become a cultural icon and preschool staple. The show has reached children in more than 180 countries and has been translated into 40 languages. With a booming merchandise empire, a book series, and multiple Peppa Pig-themed amusement parks, the franchise is now worth over £1 billion.

With baby Evie now part of the gang, viewers can expect even more muddy puddle jumping, giggles, and family fun in upcoming episodes.

One thing’s for sure – life in Peppa’s world just got even more adorable.
