Congratulations are in order for the Phelps family! Olympic medallist Michael Phelps and his wife, Nicole have expanded their brood, welcoming their third child, a son they’ve named Maverick Nicolas.
Taking to Instagram to announce the news, Nicole posted a sweet family photo of five at the hospital. “He has instantly stolen all of our hearts and keeps me an ecstatic mommy of boys 💙💙💙 I can’t wait to walk this journey surrounded by my men,” she captioned the snap.
Posting the same photo, the gold-winning Olympic swimmer said, “Mama and baby are healthy and the boys are pumped to be big bros!” The smiles on their faces say it all!
Nicole and Michael married back in 2016 and have since also welcomed three-year-old Boomer Robert and one-year-old Beckett Richard.
