Kevin and Danielle Jonas celebrated a milestone in their relationship yesterday – 10 years since they got engaged – and the eldest Jonas brother shared a major throwback photo of the moment he got down on one knee.
Kevin shared the photo on Instagram, along with the sweetest message to his wife. “10 years ago I asked @daniellejonas to spend the rest of life with me. I am so lucky to have found my best friend early and to spend this life with you. I love you so much! Thank you for saying yes!”
Long before the popularity of Instagram and social media – or before any of his brothers, Nick and Joe, got married – the image appears to be a still taken from a security camera, and shows Kevin, aged 21 in 2009, with a head full of hair, long side burns and wearing a white tux, proposing to his then-girlfriend of two years, Danielle, a former hairdresser.
He reportedly flew from Canada to the US after a Jonas Brothers concert to surprise her, and proposed with a gorgeous cushion-cut diamond ring. The couple tied the knot on 19th December of the same year.
Kevin and Danielle are now parents to daughters Alena, 5, and Valentina, 2.
