Rihanna's definitely got love on the brain after giving birth to her first baby!
Multiple sources have confirmed that the legendary pop star and her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, welcomed their first child together on 13th May in Los Angeles.
After keeping her pregnancy from the public for months, Riri shared the news in January.
"It was harder for me to keep it from my posse, because they're around me, they know my habits," the ‘Where Have You Been’ singer told E! News.
"They're like, 'You don't want something to drink? You're not smoking?' And I'm eating all the things I'm not used to eating. They know I hate sweets and I'm all of a sudden asking for cookies and donuts. But finally, I just had to let it all out, and they were all shocked, of course, as the world was shocked as well," she continued.
Rihanna noted that, when she found out she was pregnant, ‘it didn't feel real’ at first.
"And then, it was and it's almost like you don't want to get too excited too soon because it's great news, but you want to see that it's going to see its way through. And I'm so glad that we're this far along and now I can celebrate with everyone," she said.
Rihanna and A$AP's love story started off with them being friends and collaborators. Romance rumours were first sparked back in 2020, however the couple hadn’t made it official until 2021, when A$AP confirmed the news to GQ.
He had even go so far as to call Rihanna “the love of [his] life”.
A$AP was excited to experience fatherhood, stating that it was "his destiny." Looks like Rihanna has helped his destiny come true!
