Jessica Simpson officially became a mother of three last Tuesday as she welcomed her daughter and third child with husband Eric Johnson, who they named Birdie Mae.
The singer and fashion mogul confirmed the arrival with a post on Instagram, where she wrote, “We are so happy and proud to announce the birth of our perfect daughter, Birdie Mae Johnson. 3.19.19, 10 Pounds 13 Ounces.”
Jessica and Eric are also parents to daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson, 6, and Ace Knute Johnson, 5.
Earlier in the year, Jessica threw a lavish baby shower ahead of her daughter’s impending arrival, and dropped a huge hint of a possible name choice when she posed for pictures in front of a neon sign that read “Birdie’s Nest”.
