A-list power couple and incredibly talented actors, John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, enjoyed a heartfelt moment at the Screen Actors Guild Awards last night, which took place in Los Angeles.
Blunt won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role, her first ever SAG Award, for playing Evelyn Abbott in A Quiet Place – a film her husband directed, co-wrote and starred in alongside Blunt.
Although visibly shocked by the win, Blunt took to the stage – looking ravishing in a pink Michael Kors gown – and had nothing but words of praise for her husband.
“I am going to share this completely with my husband, John Krasinski, because the entire experience of doing this with you has completely pierced my heart directly. You are a stunning filmmaker. I am so lucky to be with you and to have done this film with you.”
Her supportive husband was visibly moved to tears, and proved without a shadow of doubt that he is his wife’s biggest fan.
