Ed Sheeran, 29, and wife Cherry Seaborn, 28, are the proud parents of a baby girl! The ‘Shape of You’ singer broke his social media break (which he’s been on since December 2019) to announce the birth of his daughter.
“Ello! A quick message from me as I have some personal news that I wanted to share with you... Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter - Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran,” he said, sharing a snapshot of a blanket and a pair of baby socks.
“We are completely in love with her. Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Lots of love and I’ll see you when it’s time to come back, Ed x.”
Ed and Cherry met together years ago after attending the same school and have been together for five years. Last summer the singer announced that they tied the knot in a private ceremony in January 2019.
