While the royal wedding was a very public affair, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the world in the dark when it came to the details surrounding their honeymoon.

Even before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex officially tied the knot on 19th May, rumours about their honeymoon destination had already begun. Earlier reports hinted at Canada, Ireland and even Namibia.

According to E! News, the lovebirds snuck off to East Africa for two weeks and also ventured to two other countries during their trip, where sources revealed “it was the perfect break and blend of their passions.”

The couple’s very private honeymoon apparently including safaris, outdoor adventures and plenty of time relaxing in the sun – “Restorative and the perfect holiday before starting a very busy second half of 2018.”

Africa seems like the perfect honeymoon destination for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, considering that the two vacationed in the neighbouring region of Botswana earlier in their relationship, and is the place where they fell in love. Botswana is also the place where Prince Harry sourced the centre diamond for Meghan’s stunning engagement ring.

Will the Royal couple ever announce where they spent their honeymoon? Maybe not, but we can’t help but wonder.
