Comedian Amy Schumer is pregnant with her first child with husband Chris Fischer. Schumer had Jessica Yellin, a former CNN chief White House correspondent and founder of News Not Noise, announce the news in an Instagram story on her page.
Yellin posted a screenshot of a note listing all candidate voting recommendations. The end of the note simply read, “I’m pregnant – Amy Schumer.” She also tweeted the screenshot saying, “I’m in the business of covering news not noise, but sometimes some happy noise comes along and you just have to share…Congrats Amy Schumer!!”
Schumer broke the news of her big announcement with a photo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle that had her and her husband’s faces superimposed on it.
The couple got married in a secret, star-studded wedding in Malibu last February. They tied the knot just moths after they began dating and only a few days after they went public with their relationship.
