Ex-model and American TV show host Chrissy Teigen is a weird mix of class and savage humour – character traits that have caused her fame to rise but which have also landed her in hot water with the media, rival personalities and fans, on occasion! Despite the tumult of this trajectory, there has been one long-term constant by her side for the past 13 years: her husband, singer-songwriter-actor, John Legend.
Teigen celebrated their journey together in a short and sassy Instagram post where she admits that she loves him and their life together. “Here’s to 13 more years of doin it on the semi reg”.
Teigen and Legend met on the set of the ‘Stereo’ music video way back in 2007, where she played his love interest. There was nothing traditional about their meeting, and Teigen admits that the pair hooked up when the shoot wrapped. However, the pair never quite parted ways.
The cute couple spent a long time texting back and forth, and Legend admits that the way her personality and humour shone through her texting skills made him fall in love with his on-screen interest.
Four years of dating, two years engaged and nine happily-married years later, the pair are now parents to two children, Luna, 3, and Miles, 1, both born through IVF.
