Local influencer, dancer, and photographer Alana Bondin has officially tied the know with now-husband Nicholas Sciberras.
The two got married in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by family and friends, on 29th May.
Alana and Nicholas were meant to get hitched back in 2020 but were forced to postpone due to the uncertainty brought on by COVID-19. The wedding was then postponed a second time due to a spike in infection numbers as well as a new set of health measures being put in place.
Thankfully it was a pause, not a goodbye, and this weekend it was time to press play!
Alana shared a heartfelt message to her soon-to-be husband just two hours before the wedding.
"I can't believe this day came after two years. Too many things have changed in these two years, but only one has remained the same…. the boundless love between us. If I had to choose again, I'd still choose you as long as I have you by my side," she wrote on social media.
TV presenter Ivan Gaffiero posted some photos taken during the ceremony. One of our favourite shots shows Alana being led down the aisle by her beloved brother, Liam.
The gorgeous bride donned a lace gown with a plunging neckline and tulle skirt - and if that wasn't princess-like enough, she also had on a tiara holding up her veil.
