Local actor Henry Zammit Cordina is celebrating a beautiful family milestone as his mother, the beloved Josephine Zammit Cordina, turns 90.
A familiar face in Maltese entertainment, Josephine is cherished for her long-standing contributions to television, radio, and theatre. Over the years, she presented and directed numerous programmes, and is fondly remembered for producing Waltzing Matilda – the hugely popular TV show that connected Maltese communities in Australia with viewers back home.
This birthday is especially meaningful for the family, marking Josephine’s first major milestone since the passing of her husband, Harry, in 2022.
Sharing a sweet tribute on social media, Henry wrote: ‘90 years today – Happy Birthday from myself and my wife Anna, your daughter Jacquie and her husband Albert, and all our families. God bless you, Mum.’
