In today's press conference, Prime Minister Robert Abela announced that weddings could be permitted come June with the "appropriate protocols" in place.
June 2021 is the target for weddings, as well as tourism, to resume as currently the legal notices on mass gatherings both indoors and outdoors have been suspended. Again, this is just a target date as health authorities will be reviewing the impact of the restrictions that will be relaxed on Monday closer to the date to see whether weddings and tourism will be able to resume by June.
