Rebecca Buttigieg, currently holding the position of Parliamentary Secretary for Reforms and Equality revealed on a local television program called AWLA that she is expecting a baby.

During the program, she explains how there is still a certain stigma against women. She states, ‘I am seven months pregnant, and from personal experience, I can say that everyone will ask me how I will manage to raise my baby while keeping up with political and family life.’

Rebecca Buttigieg continues to say that even though some of her male colleagues also just had children, they are not asked the same questions. This clearly shows how people still think differently.
