It’s a special day for Prince William and Kate Middleton’s youngest. Prince Louis is celebrating his third birthday today and as per tradition, a new photo has been released. He’s looking utterly adorable and all grown up!
The photo features the little prince smiling at the camera (a.k.a. his mom, the Duchess of Cambridge) while riding a red bicycle.
“Three tomorrow!” the post read, posted late last night. “Taken earlier this week by The Duchess before he left for his first day of nursery, The Duke and Duchess are pleased to share a new image of Prince Louis.” What handsome young fellow!
Prince Louis Arthur Charles was born on 23rd April 2018. The next day gun salutes from Hyde Park and Tower Bridge as well as bell ringings at Westminster Abbey marked his arrival. He is named after his great-great-great-uncle Louis Mountbatten, 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma and his paternal grandfather, Prince Charles.
In other news, according to the London Times, Prince Louis along with his siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte have taken up a new hobby – horseback riding. They’ll definitely earn the Queen’s seal of approval who herself has been enjoy the hobby for over nine decades.
