It’s happening! One half of sister duo The New Victorians, Philippa Cassar is getting married to her longtime love, Julian Naudi. The couple were meant to get married on 17th May, but like so many other brides and grooms, COVID-19 had other plans. But today, they’re tying the knot!

“This is it! 6 weeks ago we stepped out of our homes for the first time post-Lockdown to head to the public registry. It was our first time wearing facemasks and we felt like true ninjas heading to Valletta to do the paper work. They asked us who our witnesses would be, and also who our secondary witnesses would be, just in case....cos Corona,” she said in a post on socials, sharing the rollercoaster they've been through.

“At the time, only groups of 6 were allowed to gather so there was the risk our families wouldn't all get to be there, but something deep down said we should plod along anyway. It's been a rollercoaster of excitement, apprehension, plans and the changing of plans,” she admitted.

“Our expectations have changed and our emotions have soared, but one thing's remained a constant - the love I have for this guy and how ready I am to become his Mrs. See your maskless face at the altar, Pacha!”

Wishing the soon-to-be Naudis all the very best in this new chapter of their lives!
