Our Wedding Guide’s annual fashion shoot is bursting with bridal inspiration

If you’re still shopping around for your wedding dress, you may have stumbled across a gold mine. Merve Uzun from Models M exuded style and elegance at the 2019 Our Wedding Guide bridal shoot which took place at Palazzo Parisio, for which she modelled 8 gorgeous wedding dresses available locally.

Shot by talented photographer, Tonio Lombardi, the lush gardens of Palazzo Parisio had us dreaming of glorious garden weddings, and the impressive conservatory helped set the mood for this stylish shoot.

Accompanying the stunning Merve was Ben Zammit from Models M, who modelled two sharp suits from JD Formal Wear.

One suit in lighter blue (main image) was from the New Blue collection, while the other was a morning suit in dark blue, and offered a modern twist on the classic tails.

Merve’s hair and make-up were in the capable hands of dream team Lorraine Cilia and Francesca Scerri Rizzo at Alfie’s Hair & Beauty Salon.

Make-up artist Francesca transformed her look from soft and sensual to dark and bold throughout the shoot, while Lorraine effortlessly styled her hair into elegant dos to suit each gown.

Complementing the stunning garden setting were a bouquet and hair comb by Alistair Floral Design, created using a mix of light pink roses, gypsophila, eucalyptus and beargrass.

The shoot was coordinated by Our Wedding Guide’s editor, Martina Said, and featured bridal gowns from top local bridal suppliers Ivory&Co., Wedding Bells, ArtBridal boutique and Kenjo Bridal.

And of course, we can’t leave out the adorable Julia, Philippa and Benjamin, who made the perfect trio dressed head-to-toe in Monsoon Children, showing off the brand’s latest collections like the little stars that they are.
