Vanessa Gatt, the mother of little Emily who is undergoing treatment following a delicate operation in the UK, shared a message of hope today, at the start of what is her birthday month.
“There can be miracles when you believe!” Vanessa wrote, referencing lyrics to a song she shared, the popular tune by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey.
“June, my birthday month, I believe you are going to be a good month full of small miracles and surprises.”
This follows a rollercoaster month throughout May for Vanessa and her daughter, who underwent surgery to remove a tumour from her abdomen, which was highly successful.
However, the weeks that followed were a series of ups and downs for the little one, who experienced post-op complications, including very low blood pressure.
Many rallied around little Emily and prayed for her recovery, which is ongoing, while prayers are still needed.
