Minister for Inclusion and Social Wellbeing Julia Farrugia Portelli and her husband James Portelli are celebrating 10 years of marriage. The minister shared quite the rollercoaster memory, revealing it was quite the journey to walk down the aisle.
“10 years ago we said yes to the good and the bad. We nearly even went up to the altar with our laptops! Luckily, the caterer couldn’t make it on the first date we chose. That day happened to be the referendum, which as a newspaper editor is one of the longest and most hectic days. As they say, we narrowly missed it!”
