Staying through to his signature opulence and grandeur, with a delicate touch of femininity thrown in to the mix, the dresses from his new collection are beautifully structured and heavily embellished.

The 13-piece collection also features statement jewellery pieces and shoes, and is shot at Elizabeth Taylor’s former townhouse in midtown Manhattan – fancy!

Inspired by Japanese cherry blossoms, a number of pieces feature elegant floral motifs, and rather than sticking to shades of white and ivory, the collection also features the prettiest shade of blush.

Meanwhile, one of the standout pieces features a detachable skirt – echoing the two-in-one dresses trend – giving brides the option of comfort and versatility.

The collection also references another of our favourite bridal trends of the moment – the jumpsuit – featuring a long-sleeved jumpsuit with tonal crystal embellishments.

For brides who would like some added cover for the ceremony, Elie Saab works in some beautiful capes and veils in a gossamer-thin hybrid material, which works wonderfully with the gowns beneath without overpowering them.
