5 Toppers you Shouldn’t Use on Your Wedding Cake

5 Toppers you Shouldn’t Use on Your Wedding Cake

If the groom wants to get away, let him…

1. The one on the run

This is probably the most popular of terrible wedding cake toppers. It’s not that we’re too stiff to take a joke, but is your wedding day really the best time to poke fun at the bride or groom trying to get away? It reeks of relationship issues.

2. The texting topper

A sad reflection of modern day society or an empty couple with a bland sense of humour? We’ll let you decide, but everything about this topper just screams ‘HELP’.

3. The mermaid bride

We love beach weddings, we really do, but this beach wedding mermaid-inspired topper looks, uhm, weird. Does the bride know mermaids don’t exist? Can someone please tell her?

4. The inappropriate couple

You’re madly in love, can’t get enough of each other and are now smitten newlyweds in the honeymoon stage. We get it. But is the cake topper really the best place to imply bedroom activity to your guests? It would have been more fitting for a bachelor/ette do.

5. The trapped groom

Not quite sure whether this topper should make us laugh or cry, but either way, kudos to the couple brave enough to air their dirty laundry on their wedding day.
